Ethan is a D51 tender engine with a Lancaster and Yorkshire railway class 0-6-0 extended tender. He appears in Thomas and Friends 2.0.
Biography:[]
Ethan was built in 1906 on Hawaiian island Oah'u island by Montgomery Stanford in secret from the US government, before he was found in 1938 by a German troop from Germany and was then sent to the Deutsche Reichsbahn to take Polish Jews to Auschwitz Concentration Camp. By 1942, Ethan could speak German fluently which would make his driver get to have a official badge from Hitler. Soon in 1945 after Germany was invaded by the allied power, he would be sentence to be scrapped at Shumkovo railway cemetery in what is now Perm Russia. But, Montgomery Stanford and Ethan went to the Port of Tallinn|Port of Tallinn and accidentally went to Maine rather than Hawaii. Soon in 1975 by a person who worked for the UP(Union Pacific) while visiting Maine, saw Ethan an Montgomery in a siding and then, he and Montgomery would later be sent to the UPR(Union Pasific Railway) a week later. But he was hijacked from March 1985 to December 1987. He would be soon bought by the N.W.R in January 2nd 1988, after the Fat controller heard about him being hijacked a lot to save him from his suffering. And from February 1988 to May 1991, Ethan was working perfectly, before being relocated to the Jerome branchline. He would soon replace a old member of the Jerome branch fleet for being so good at his job.

Ethan is a kind and lovable engine. He likes to have races with dogs and coyotes although often loses those types of races. He respects everyone that doesn't call him "Ethanol".

- Due to him being in the [1] he is able to speak German.
- When he was built in 1906, he was considered a freelance design by every railway like Hiro before the first D51 class was built and James the red engine was built.
- He was called Ethanol by Diesel 10 when he was sent to the Jerome branchline.
- Utah's ghost sometimes possesses him to take revenge for taking his place which would soon make him cry and then fall down at Mt. Jerome just like Utah for a attempt suicide.
- Strangely enough, Ethan would become friends with Utah's Ghost around 2005.
