Rodney is the long-lost brother of Rosie. When Rodney came to Sodor, he never had a name. Rosie nicknamed him Rodney, and the name stuck. He was damaged and parts of his cab got destroyed in a fire in his shed near Tidmouth Sheds. In order to pay for damages, he was fitted with parts from scrapped engines of he and Rosie's kind, along with some wood and tarp. He currently lives on the Michael Rosen Line, a branch line of the NWR in The New Adventures of Fatty's Engines.
