Production

A long time ago, way back when Training it Together was called JackTube, I started making videos. This went on for some time before I just stopped one day. I went about a year without posting a single thing, until I released a video creatively titled 'Merchandising'. Then, I uploaded more and more videos until I got to Track Tales Episode 1: New Updates. This was probably the worst episode in the series, though it still retained it's charm as the first episode of the first series. The second episode, 'A Hole in the Tracks' was filmed at the Bay Escape house in Cape Cod. Track marks were dug into the blanket, causing a more wide and detailed layout, but the layout was less visible than real tracks. Production went on, and soon, Track Tales reached it's first season. The second season was in thought for a while, and many ideas came and went. Finally, Season 2 debuted with a three-part special, and by the time Season 2 was about two-thirds of the way, Videoshop was introduced and finally gave the series the cutting-edge, modern technology it needed. So far, Season 2 is done, and the Season 3 opener has come out.

Trivia

• Collision would have taken place without Videoshop had the original version been uploaded.
• In Season 1 Episode 13, a reference to a Consolidation locomotive that supposedly carried the number 314 is made.
• One episode of Season 1 was uploaded, but later titled 'Scrapped Video' because it was boring with a dull plot that was just taking up space.
• Henry Over the Ocean was an episode that was filmed, but not uploaded because Henry crashing into the ocean while pulling the Flying Kipper was an overused plot that wasn't exciting anymore.
• Class 40 is referred to as 'D261' as that is what his ERTL toy said.
• A model of Sonny had been made for the series, but he has not been introduced yet. If he is introduced, he will be the third CGI-Exclusive Character to be introduced, after Frankie in Frankie Takes the Plunge and Ferdinand in Ferdinand Catches Up
• One concept going around is that large-scale models might be used for close-up shots.
• One of Thomas' proposed large-scale models has already been seen in Bill and Ben's Mountain Adventure as a Giant.
• Season 1 kept the same layout for the entire season, while Season 2 has gone through more layouts than I can count.
• Thomas, Percy and Toby are the only engines with large-scale models.
